2	Sekio "5"	$90 upwards	Yes	No	Japan	With Seiko reputation for reliable and quality.  To me this is the most affordable and reliable mechanical watch so far.  For the more "ah peh" models, you can actually get it for less than $100.  However, for the more hip and rugged models be prepared to pay slightly more (e.g. $150 - $400).
3	Fossil	$185 upwards	Yes	No	US	Is a relatively new player in the market. The range of Mechanical watches for both Men and Ladies are mostly catered to consumer in the age group of between 20 yrs to 30yrs.
4	Swatch	$200 upwards	Yes	No	Swiss	Well known Swiss watch brand but think most of their watches should be manufactured in their factories in Asia where labour cost is cheap.
5	Titus	$280-$400	Yes	No	Swiss	Titus can only be found in citychain shops and a good time to buy them will be during the annual sale where huge discount can be expected
6	iWatch	$300 upward	Yes	No	Unknown	The company is register in Germany, suspect that it watches maybe OEM from China or some other Asia country.  Again based on feedback, quality of the watch is good.  The watch seems to be only available in this shop known as Time Club (a chain store with branches islandwide) and most of the time it is offering discount of up to 60%.
7	Arbutus	$300-$400	Yes	No	Unknown	From their website, looks like it is an American brand but I suspect that it has it's orgin in Hong Kong which OEM it watch from China.  However, must say that they do have some very nice models and based on feedback the quality is also good.
8	Seiko Automatic	$300 upwards	Yes	No	Japan	Seiko has one of the widest range of auto watch in the market with very affordable pricing.  However, one disadvantage is the inability to hack for most of their movement.
9	Oscar	$400-$600	Yes	Yes	Swiss	The brand can only be found in JW Mechanical Time in China Square Central.  It use to be selling for only $280 (a very good buy for a swiss made mechanical watch) after discount but recently when I went over the price has actually shot up to $400 plus.
10	Sandoz	$450-$600	Yes	Yes	Swiss	This is supposely a Swiss brand but I think has been bought over by some Hong Kong or Singapore based company. Cheapest that I can find is $290 after discount at a shop in The Bencoolen, can't remember the model but it is a Rolex look alike.
11	Seiko Kinetic	$500 upwards	Yes (Auto- quartz)	No	Japan	Seiko Kinetic is a technology pioneered by Seiko.  It is also known as Auto-quartz, which are watches with quartz accuracy and is self powered by the movement of the wearer hand.
12	Seiko Premier	$700 upwards	Yes	No	Japan	As the name suggest this is the premier series of the Seiko range of watches.  It come with the same kind of reliable that you will expect from Sekio but do be prepare to pay a lot more for the design and branding.
